This Privacy Policy explains how CohereOps, operated by Aline Kubiak ("I", "me", or "my"), collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit cohereops.earth or use its services.

By using this website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information I Collect

Contact form. When you submit the contact form, I collect your name, email address, and message. This information is sent directly to me by email and is not stored in a database.

Operations audit (quiz). When you complete the free ops audit, I collect your email address and your quiz responses. This information is stored in a secure database (Supabase) and used to send you your audit results and a service recommendation.

Usage data. I use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. This may include your IP address (anonymised), browser type, device type, pages visited, and time spent on the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Scheduling. If you book a call via Calendly, Calendly collects your name, email, and availability directly. Please review Calendly's privacy policy for details.

2. How I Use Your Information

To respond to your contact form enquiries
To send you your operations audit results and service recommendations
To follow up about working together, if you've expressed interest
To understand how visitors use the site and improve it

I do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

I use the following third-party services to operate this website:

Netlify — website hosting. Privacy policy
Resend — email delivery for contact form submissions and audit results. Privacy policy
Supabase — database storage for quiz submissions. Privacy policy

Calendly — appointment scheduling. Privacy policy

Each of these services has its own privacy practices. I encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns.

4. Cookies

This site uses cookies through Google Analytics to collect usage data. These cookies are used solely for analytics purposes and do not track you across other websites for advertising.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.

5. Data Retention

Contact form messages are retained in my email inbox for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry.

Quiz submissions (email and responses) are stored in Supabase indefinitely to allow me to follow up with prospective clients. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default settings.

6. California Residents — Your Rights Under CCPA

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

Right to know. You may request information about the categories and specific pieces of personal data I have collected about you.
Right to delete. You may request that I delete your personal data, subject to certain exceptions.
Right to opt out of sale. I do not sell personal information. No opt-out is necessary.
Right to non-discrimination. I will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.

7. EU/UK Residents — Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Right of access. You may request a copy of the personal data I hold about you.
Right to rectification. You may ask me to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to erasure. You may ask me to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
Right to restriction. You may ask me to limit how I use your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability. You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Legal basis for processing. I process your data on the following bases: (a) your consent, where given; (b) to perform or prepare a contract with you; (c) legitimate interests in operating and improving this website.

8. Data Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Third-party services used are reputable providers with their own security practices.

No method of internet transmission is 100% secure. While I strive to protect your data, I cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

This website is not directed at children under the age of 16. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to me, please contact me and I will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

I may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
